‘For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh’
The Shroud Defeats Every Heresy!
We’re amazed at what we have been hearing.

Our favorites are the professional and nonprofessional “critics” of the film
The Passion of the Christ — including those who are just moviegoer “know-it-alls.”

In a recent conversation with them, some have had the audacity to state
“how do we know how the Romans crucified people?”

These are the ones who are objecting to what they claim are non-biblical scenes such as the crow pecking at the eye of the unrepentant thief.  There is no need to defend this scene through the statements of visionaries.

It is a historical fact.

In reality, out of all the crucifixion victims persecuted by the Romans in the Holy Land, only the skeletal remains of one has ever been unearthed
.

And there is a simple reason for this:  usually, what was left of the bodies of those who died on a cross were cremated in the garbage dump — akin to the flames of Gehenna (
see Jeremias 19:7) — outside the walls of the city of Jerusalem!  For they had been mangled upon their crosses, not only from the abuse they took from the sadistic Roman soldiers, but from scavenging animals who ripped apart what was left of the dying bodies!

It is a fact, therefore, that we know Jesus was loved greatly by those who continued to believe in Him despite the spectacle of what appeared to be His end on His Cross.  Why?  Jesus was taken down from the Cross and placed in a fine linen cloth for burial and then, placed in a rich man’s tomb for what was, at that moment, His lifeless Body!

But by the time the women returned to anoint that Body it was gone!

Only the imprints of our Savior’s Passion remained on His burial cloth.

A cloth that today defeats every heresy conceived of in 2,000 years of Christianity, Judaism or islam.

To those who claim Christ is not present in the Eucharist, here is the Body and Blood of the Lamb on the Tablecloth where He first held aloft the Sacred Host commanding us to
“do this in remembrance of Me!”

To those who claim Jesus is a
“man of color” or not Jewish, here are His features proving His is the Lion of the Tribe of Judah.

To those who claim the Church is not His, here is the cloth venerated by the Saints of His bride and residing in His Cathedral of the New Covenant.

To those who claim we do not know how or if He was Crucified, here are the imprints and Bloodstains where the nails went through His hands and feet.

To those who claim He was not dead on the Cross, here is the Heart wound pouring forth His Blood and Water as a
Fountain of Mercy for us.

To those who claim His Body was stolen from the Tomb, here are His Bloodstains undisturbed upon the cloth.

To those who refuse to honor His Mother, here is Her hand placed up against His Sacred Heart.

To those who claim He is not God, here is the mysterious imprints of a majestic
Holy Face upon a cloth that no one can explain.

To those who claim He is never coming back, here is the bloody image of the
Crown of Thorns that can only be exchanged for His Crown of Glory when He sits on His Throne in Jerusalem.

To those who claim there is no life after death, nor eternal reward or punishment, here is the proof of everyone’s ultimate resurrection!

For those who, today, continue to reject His Passion, why should we be surprised?

Are they not the same as those who sought to
“find an accusation against Him”?

“And it came to pass also on another Sabbath, that He entered into the synagogue, and taught.  And there was a man, whose right hand was withered.  And the scribes and pharisees watched if He would heal on the Sabbath; that they might find an accusation against Him.

But He knew their thoughts; and said to the man who had the withered hand:
‘Arise, and stand forth in the midst.’

And rising he stood forth.

Then Jesus said to them:
‘I ask, if it be lawful on the Sabbath days to do good, or to do evil; to save life, or to destroy?’

And looking round about on them all, He said to the man:
‘Stretch forth thy hand.’

And he stretched it forth:  and his hand was restored!

And they were filled with madness; and they talked one with another, what they might do to Jesus”
Luke 6:6-11.

Does this verse not fulfill the prophecy of the Lord?

“Thus saith the Lord of Hosts, the God of Israel:  ‘Behold, I will bring in upon this city, and upon all the cities thereof all the evils that I have spoken against it:  BECAUSE THEY HAVE HARDENED THEIR NECKS, THAT THEY MIGHT NOT HEAR MY WORDS!’ Jeremias 19:15.

And today, many of those in Israel and throughout the world continue to harden their necks, speaking against Him, hearing not His Words, seeing not His
Face, nor believing in His Shroud.

“For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh” Luke 6:45.
